Hyderabad: Rapid response teams have been formed in the state to tackle the bird flu spread. The state forest department yesterday announced a series of steps to identify the causes of death of any bird in Telangana.
R. Sobha, the state’s principal chief conservator of forests and chief wildlife warden, said that orders had been issued to the authorities of zoos in the city and Warangal, besides different birds and wildlife sanctuaries in Telangana to constitute Rapid Response Teams for holding patrols in regions where migratory birds meet.
