The Belarusian pavilion was visited by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Syria Yuri Sluka, Syria's Minister of Public Works and Housing Suhail Muhammad Abdul Latif, as well as representatives of the Syrian business community.
Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1, Energokomplekt and Minsk Automobile Plant are taking part in the 8th edition of the Rebuild Syria 2023 expo that opened in Damascus on 27 September.
“The parties pointed to the high potential of bilateral relations and emphasized the need to step up cooperation between the ministries of the two countries. Special attention was paid to recreation and health improvement programs for Syrian children run by Belarus,” the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.
“In general, we have mutual intention to work together for the benefit of our countries. We are looking for all possible mechanisms to intensify interaction,” the Belarusian ambassador to Syria stressed.
