India recorded 1,84,372 new Covid-19 cases in the highest single-day spike ever since the pandemic began last year. With the fresh cases, the country s positive cases tally has mounted to 1,38,73,825, according to the data provided by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile, a total of 1,027 people succumbed to the Covid-19 infection in the last 24 hours, pushing the death toll to 1,72,085.
