The nurse lucy letby has been found guilty of murdering seven babies and attempting to kill six others when they were in her care at a hospital in cheshire. It means the 33 year old is the uks biggest killer of babies in modern times. In a statement, the families of lucy letby s victims said that justice could not reduce the extreme hurt, anger and distress they had experienced, adding that they were heartbroken. Lucy letby was also acquitted of two counts of attempted murder, and the jury were undecided on six charges of attempted murder. She will be sentenced on monday.
