Opposition parties should join forces as the government “has failed the test” in the struggle against the COVID-19 pandemic, and Poles cannot count on the state’s support, Centrist Civic Platform (PO) leader Borys Budka told a party conference.
It is necessary to bring 276 votes in the Sejm as soon as possible with the opposition “so that we can change the reality,” PO deputy leader and Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski told the same conference under the banner “Time for change”.
Budka invited the opposition to take part in a debate about Poland’s future, explaining that 276 was the necessary number to overthrow the presidential veto “in order to be able to implement changes in Poland”.
