A total of 30 suspects have been arrested by Bauchi State Police Command for various criminal offence ranging from armed robbery, trespasses, phone snatching, cattle rustling and kidnapping in the last one month.
Also, four motorcycles, electronic gadgets including laptops, plasma TVs, decoders and others worth over N3m were recovered from the suspects most of who have confessed to committing the crimes they were arrested for.
While parading the suspects at the Command headquarters on Friday, the Commissioner of Police Bauchi State Command, Abiodun Sylvester Alabi stated that the suspects were arrested at different locations in Alkaleri, Bauchi and Toro LGA where they were terrorizing members of the public.

The Bauchi state police Command, on Sunday, confirmed the killing of one police inspector and a young man, by unknown assailants suspected to be hoodlums at Nabordo Village, about 50 kilometres from Bauchi, the state capital.
Superintendent (SP) Ahmad Wakil, the spokesman for the Command, disclosed this in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria NAN in Bauchi.
He said the hoodlums attacked a Safer Highway police base, killed the police inspector and a 33-year old man in Nabordo, located along Bauchi-Jos road, in Toro local government area of the state.

Gunmen have attacked policemen at the Naborodo Safer Highway Patrol area of the Bauchi State Police Command on the Bauchi-Jos Road and killed a 35-year old inspector.
One other person, a civilian, was also killed during the attack.
The command disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists by its Public Relations Officer, Ahmed Wakil, on Sunday.
He said that the incident happened on Saturday.
According to him, the civilian was hit by a stray bullet and was rushed to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi, where he later died.

Gunmen have attacked Naborodo safer highway Patrol Axis of the Bauchi State Police Command along Bauchi-Jos road and killed a 35-year-old Inspector.
One other person was also killed during the attack.
The Bauchi State Police Command disclosed this in a statement signed and made available to journalists by its Public Relations Officer, Ahmed Wakil, Sunday night.
He said that the incident happened on Saturday.
According to him, the civilian was shot by a stray bullet and was rushed to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi where he later died.
Wakil said, “Bauchi state command regret to announce that on Saturday 14th of March 2021, at about 9.30pm an attack was unleashed at the Naborodo safer high way Patrol Axis of the Bauchi State Police Command, on police officers patrolling Bauchi – Jos road, by unknown armed men.
