Aligarh: Lesser tech-savvy, non-teaching staff of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) were provided with necessary hands-on-training in information technology during a three day ‘IT Training Programme (ETP – 2021)’ organised by the Training and Placement Cell, University Women’s Polytechnic.
Conducted at the Computer Lab of the Women’s Polytechnic; the programme had specialised training in Word Processing, Spreadsheet Applications and utilization of Government portals to acquire various services.
“This training will enhance the confidence of employees and improve their overall performances and productivity,” said Dr Salma Shaheen (Principal, University Women’s Polytechnic and Convener of the programme).
She added: “A development program like this brings employees to a higher level with skills and knowledge and helps to reduce their weak points.”
