PESHAWAR: Speakers at a function on Monday asked the students to adopt innovative methods while conducting research on various topics and it could be only done through extensive reading of relevant contents.
The function was arranged under the auspices of Youth Spirit Spark (YSS), an organisation of the Government Degree College Zaida, Swabi, where students, teachers and young research scholars showed up in large numbers, said a press release.
A literary magazine titled ‘Gandhara Sindhu’ brought out by Government Degree College Zaida, Swabi, was also unveiled.The speakers, including Prof Aseem Khan, Prof Syed Zubair Shah, Prof Ziaullah Khan and others said that though excessive use of social media had taken students away from reading books, yet some teachers instilled the spirit of pursuing research activities towards a productive academic career.
