Medtronic has reported preliminary findings of the first and only head-to-head trial comparing standard-of-care CT-guided biopsy with electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy (ENB) for the diagnosis of lung nodules. The data, presented at the American Thoracic Society International Conference, ATS 2024, demonstrated non-inferiority and fewer complications when using ENB, the company reported.
