The Allahabad High Court has acquitted Moninder Singh Pandher and Surendra Koli, the accused in the Nithari killings case, stating that the investigation was poorly conducted and violated basic norms of evidence collection. The court expressed disappointment with the manner in which the case was handled and criticized the failure of the prosecution. The court also noted that the recovery of human remains was made outside Pandher s house and raised concerns about the failure to investigate the possible involvement of organ trade. The death sentences awarded to Pandher and Koli were reversed, and they are set to be released.
