COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s gymnastics team will compete in the Covelli Center for the first time this season when it hosts No. 17 Michigan State and No. 20 Illinois on Sunday at 4 p.m. in a tri-meet. The competition will air live on the Big Ten Network.

Ohio State (1-3, 1-2 Big Ten) finished second at a tri-meet with Michigan State and Nebraska last Saturday with a team score of 195.325. As a team, Ohio State claimed the vault title with a 48.975, which tied its season high. Five Buckeyes won shares of three event titles. Elexis Edwards and Sydney Jennings earned a share of the vault crown with scores of 9.825 while Colby Miller and Jenna Swartzentruber shared the bars title with a pair of 9.850s. Alexis Hankins tied for first on floor behind a 9.875.
