Woman dies after being hit by car in Fayetteville
A female died Monday night after being hit by a car at at the intersection of Bragg Boulevard and Sycamore Dairy Road in Fayetteville.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and the events leading up to it.
Part of Bragg Boulevard was initially closed after the crash and later reopened.
Anyone who has information about the crash is asked to call Officer C. Biggerstaff with the Fayetteville Police Department Traffic Unit at 910-751-1382 or Cumberland County Crimestoppers at 910-483-TIPS (8477).

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) â Fayetteville police are warning those who post items for sale online to be on the lookout for counterfeit bills when they meet with buyers.
Police said in a release Thursday that detectives âare experiencing an increase in counterfeit currency investigations.â
Many of those investigations involve âpeer-to-peer, or e-marketplace sales.â
