Alice Queen opens higher on hitting further copper-gold mineralisation in diamond drilling at Boda East

Alice Queen Ltd (ASX:AQX) has intersected further copper-gold in three diamond drill holes at Boda East within the Yarindury Project in the prolific Lachlan Fold Belt of central New South Wales.
Some elevated zones of copper were returned in hole 20BEDH010 that indicate the northern area remains open while large areas east and at depth also remain untested.
The junior explorer has found further success during an early-stage drilling program within Australia’s copper-gold hotspot. Drilling continues at Alice Queen s projects in the Northern Molong Volcanic Belt.
Alice Queen Ltd’s (ASX:AQX) latest drilling campaign at its Mendooran Project within the Molong Volcanic Belt (MVB) of New South Wales has extended the target area.
Recent drilling by the gold and copper explorer has confirmed that prospective Macquarie Arc rocks lie a further nine kilometres to Mendooran’s north.
While work at the project is still in its early stages, confidence is building thanks to other discoveries in the area that is within the prolific Lachlan Fold Belt.
Alice Queen reels in $1.8 million to progress gold work at Horn Island, Fiji and central NSW
Proceeds from the placement will be used in exploration activities including assessing the value of the historic Run of Mine and ore stockpiles at Horn Island via a planned RC drill program and to progress the review of historical exploration results at Fiji and starting a maiden preliminary field program. The company plans to issue around 140 million shares at a price of 1.3 cents per share.
