Antioch City Council Approve Three More Police Reform Items

On Tuesday, the Antioch City Council unanimously approved three police reform items that include hiring lateral officers, training and notifications for critical public safety incidents.
The 5-0 vote came with no discussion outside of public comments
For the most part, the Antioch Police Department had already been doing these three reforms.

Mike Barbanica took to social media after the meeting to explain why he voted on all three items and motioned for them:
Tonight there were three issues on the agenda concerning the police department that were passed. I actually made the motion for all three and Council Member Ogorchock seconded all of them.
