LOCK HAVEN The Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania has affirmed the decision of a county court ruling concerning an ongoing boundary line dispute between Woodward and Dunnstable townships.
Woodward and Dunnstable townships had been locked in a legal battle regarding the municipalities’ boundary line for years.
The two townships attempted to settle the dispute through discussion but couldn’t come to an agreeable conclusion.
In 2018, the issue was finally taken to county court.
Senior Judge John Leete of Potter County was appointed to the case.
In February 2020, the townships received a notice from the court appointed review board that two of its three members believed Woodward had the correct boundary line.
