After being cancelled last year, the annual 11km Island Charity Swim will return to Mudjimba in May and again raise vital funds for the Nambour, Currimundi and Palmview special schools. However, this year will welcome a new atmosphere as hundreds of participants dive into the inaugural Swim The Island Mudjimba. The shorter 3km swim will run alongside the charity swim, with upwards of 300 competitors in total diving in across the two events on May 8.
