it looks like a horse is still conscious. taking a shot from a distance at a horse, to me, that s completely out of order. if you re going to euthanize a horse, you ve got to get a bullet in the right place. and, you know, shooting a horse from afar as if you re on safari is not the way to do it. if that s representative of how they re being killed, then we ve got a really serious problem. the abattoir says it takes great care to maintain high welfare conditions and does not accept any form of animal abuse. it says, where issues arise, it takes swift action to review and rectify them. all horses are humanely destroyed under the control of fsa vets who are present on the slaughter line at all times. so, should the fsa be intervening? i think also what s shocking there is it looks like there s
