Pull into the center parking lot and food will be placed into your vehicle. Senior boxes are being distributed Wednesdays instead of Thursdays. Those who are not yet registered should come after 3 p.m. Proof of income is no longer required.

Children’s charity conducting calendar fundraiser
Superheroes Believe in Miracles, a charity that serves children facing illness, disability or limitations is selling 2021 calendars that feature 13 children dressed up as their favorite superhero.

Volunteers needed at Kiski Valley Cat & Kitten Rescue
Kiski Valley Cat & Kitten Rescue in Apollo is seeking volunteers and donations.
The organization is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty and neglect toward cats and kittens and provides shelter and necessary medical care until they can find their forever home. The shelter usually runs at full capacity.
Volunteers are needed to clean and replenish food and water bowls, clean litter boxes, shelter floors and enclosures and play with the cats and kittens and are asked to commit to at least one shift per week. Days and times are flexible. Volunteers younger than 16 must be under the supervision of a parent or guardian who is at least over 18.

Pajama Project seeks pajama donations
The Rotary Club of Leechburg and Interact Club of Leechburg Area High School are sponsoring the Pajama Project collection through Monday in the Leechburg area.
Donations of new pajamas in all sizes and men’s sleep pants will be accepted at the following locations: Sprankle’s Market, Coco Coffeehouse, Nextier Bank, Leechburg Floral, Kiski Valley Church of God, First Baptist Church, Leechburg Public Library, Tisha’s Salon and Spa Bar, the Moose and Elks lodges and the Leechburg High School nurse’s office, all in Leechburg; Christ the King Church, Hunt’s Hilltop Service and Kalmar Motors, all in Gilpin.
