Volunteers needed at Kiski Valley Cat & Kitten Rescue Kiski Valley Cat & Kitten Rescue in Apollo is seeking volunteers and donations. The organization is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty and neglect toward cats and kittens and provides shelter and necessary medical care until they can find their forever home. The shelter usually runs at full capacity. Volunteers are needed to clean and replenish food and water bowls, clean litter boxes, shelter floors and enclosures and play with the cats and kittens and are asked to commit to at least one shift per week. Days and times are flexible. Volunteers younger than 16 must be under the supervision of a parent or guardian who is at least over 18.
