Sweeping Corp. of America continues growth spurt with three more acquisitions Contributed photo Seven Hills-based Sweeping Corp. of America (SCA), which describes itself as the largest power sweeping company in the United States, has grown some more. The company announced in a news release on Thursday, April 15, that it has made three acquisitions: Superior Sweeping Services Inc. in Kalamazoo, Mich; West Michigan Sweepers in Rockford, Mich.; and Lots Appeal Environmental Services Inc. in Smyrna, Ga. Terms of the deals were not disclosed. With the acquisitions, SCA said in the release, it now has more than 1,200 employees in 43 locations nationwide. The company has made five acquisitions so far in 2021.
