KUALA LUMPUR: The Sessions Court was told that Ewein Zenith Sdn Bhd (EZCB) managing director Datuk Ewe Swee Kheng was unafraid and comfortable when the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) recorded his statement over Penang chief minister Lim Guan Eng's corruption case relating to the construction of the undersea tunnel and paired roads in the state.
KUALA LUMPUR: The signing of two memoranda for the Penang undersea tunnel project in front of then prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and then Chinese premier Wen Jiabao in 2011 was an occasion which Lim Guan Eng claimed had made others envious of him, says a witness.
KUALA LUMPUR: The late Datuk Ewe Swee Kheng said he was somewhat “worried” for his safety after making revelations that he had met with former Penang chief minister Lim Guan Eng over suitable land for him to develop.
