A senior executive at Oxfam South Africa Thembinkosi Dlamini says eSwatini's King Mswati must urgently initiate dialogue with pro-democracy protesters to avoid a further deterioration of the situation in the country.
Young people in Eswatini say the indefinite closure of schools in their country will give them enough time to take part in the protests against the Kingdom of Eswatini.
King Mswati III has ordered the immediate and indefinite closure of schools in Eswatini following a protest by students and learners boycotting lessons and calling for free schooling, as well as an end to the King’s rule.
