The Helping Hand of Warren County is accepting donations to help Warren County residents during the holiday season, and is currently taking food, clothing, and monetary donations. Executive Director Sue Wilson tells KNIA News personal care items and extra large diapers are in need right now, as well as some non-conventional items.
“A lot of our people could use some gas cards or laundry cards. We partner with the Wash Barn for laundry cards, you can go in and buy a card and bring it in here if that’s how you would like to help. And HyVee has their gas cards that you can get at the HyVee Gas Station. Those are two needs that we see a lot of.”
