A civil court in Maharashtra s Pune has ordered the Pune (rural) Police to provide a bride with protection against a jilted man she was in a romantic relationship with earlier. The girl is set to get married on December 27 in Pune city itself. She has been fighting a legal battle against her former lover over the past several months.
