A CHARITY which helps people to write and record an original song in memory of someone who has died has won support from the author of a funeral self-help book. Leeds-based charity the Swan Song Project helps people dealing with a bereavement to create their own songs as a way of honouring someone and processing grief, even if they have no previous musical or writing experience. Sarah Jones, author of Funerals Your Way and owner of funeral directors Full Circle Funerals in Guiseley, was so inspired by the initiative that she has pledged the 2021 proceeds of her book to support the charity.
