An accident took place on the A47 between Swaffham and Narborough on Wednesday, May 12

The A47 has reopened after a collision involving three vehicles meant traffic was queuing in both directions.
Emergency services were called around 5.52pm to the collision which took place between Swaffham and Narborough.
One person sustained minor injuries which did not require hospital transportation, while the road was reopened around 8pm.
The accident took place near the Swaffham Road junction involving a Vauxhall Insignia, Citroen van and Volvo Estate.
Traffic was queuing in both directions as one lane remained open.

Mark Martindale banned from going to Great Yarmouth after starting fire at Market Gates shopping centre

A man with more than 30 arson attacks on record will only be able to carry one lighter and has been banned from Great Yarmouth after starting a fire at a shopping centre.
Mark Martindale, 36, of Swaffham Road, Wendling, who has a long history of starting fires, mainly to wheelie bins in the Great Yarmouth area, admitted arson on August 26, last year, when he set fire to rubbish behind a store at the shopping centre.
Sentencing him at Norwich Crown Court, Judge Andrew Shaw told Martindale, who had 32 offences of arson, that he was putting a range of measures in place to protect the public and try to stop him re-offending.

Norfolk police were called to Swaffham Road in Cockley Cley on Friday, April 9, after someone reported a dead bird hanging from a tree.
Police arrived on the scene to find a red kite, and an X-ray led to a vet finding shot dust around the right ulna and one of the legs being broken, police have said.
