With many schools across Wales, the south of England and London planning a second day of walkouts by teachers tomorrow, the literary celebration was brought forward for many pupils.
Smiling faces as West Norfolk schools return to the classroom

It was smiling faces all round as West Norfolk s teachers and pupils welcomed the return to the classroom this week after more than two months of lockdown.
Youngsters at St Martha s Catholic Primary School made their way into the school gates, where they were welcomed by head of school Hayley Pink.
Jane Gardener, executive headteacher at Sandringham and West Newton Primary Academy, said: âIt was so wonderful to have everyone back in school, seeing all the smiling faces and the excited chatter, it made school feel like school again hearing the buzz in every classroom.â

West Norfolk s educators have welcomed the news that pupils across the country are due to return to schools on March 8 as lockdown restrictions ease.
Last night s announcement revealed the prime minister s roadmap for reducing lockdown restrictions, including a return to the classroom for students.
Norfolk County Council leader Andrew Proctor said: I welcome the PM s roadmap for giving us clarity on how lockdown can be eased, in stages, based on the data.
