The International Industrial Fair Innoprom is another step towards the technological independence of the Belarus-Russia Union State, Belarus' Industry Minister Aleksandr Rogozhnik told the STV TV channel, BelTA informs.
As many as 45 enterprises run by the Industry Ministry were represented at Innoprom 2023. Six enterprises (MAZ, BKM Holding, Amkodor, Gomselmash, MTZ, and BelAZ) had dedicated stands that featured 21 vehicles and pieces of equipment in natural size.
Enterprises of the Industry Ministry of Belarus signed 23 documents, including 14 agreements, 1 memorandum, 7 contracts and 1 treaty on the sidelines of the International Industrial Fair Innoprom in Yekaterinburg on 10-11 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry.
Bellesbumprom companies supplied furniture, paper and cardboard, fiberboard, wallpaper to this Russian region. The growth of exports was pretty robust last year, too. In 2022 enterprises of the concern increased their exports to the region 1.7 times over 2021.
The preliminary amount of contracts that were agreed upon and signed by Belarusian enterprises at the International Industrial Fair Innoprom 2023 amounted to $180 million, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Myatlikov told reporters on the sidelines of the expo in Yekaterinburg, BelTA has learned.
