Fresh produce abounds at Biggers Market at 6250 Market St. in Wilmington. (Photo courtesy of Biggers Market) Now in its third month of operation at its new 6250 Market St. location, Biggers Market is starting the season out strong with fresh produce and a wide variety of local products.
Because the growing season starts earlier in Florida, much of the market’s produce is coming in from the Sunshine State for now, but as North Carolina nears its peak growing season, the bulk of items will be harvested within the state, as close to the Cape Fear region as possible.
