A COSMETIC clinic is calling on Cumbrians to donate items to its campaign that will gift them to domestic abuse victims. For the second year in a row, VL Aesthetics is running the Regifting Beauty campaign to help the Freedom Project, a support service. The clinic is urging people to donate toiletries, skincare products, and beauty products that will then be re-gifted back to those who may not have easy access to the items. Vanessa Brown, owner of VL Aesthetics, said: “Last year’s campaign was extremely successful, with over £5,000 worth of products donated from people around Cumbria. “We would like to double this to £10,000 this year - because it was such a success last year, we need to repeat it.

Cumbrians are being urged to help victims of domestic violence by donating toiletries, skincare and beauty products.
Regifting Beauty was launched by Carlisle cosmetic clinic VL Aesthetics last Christmas to support domestic violence service Freedom Project and is now back for its second year.
Clinic owner Vanessa Brown said that 2020 has been especially difficult for victims and survivors, and she wanted to bring the campaign back to even more people this time.
She said: âLast yearâs campaign was extremely successful, with over £5,000-worth of products donated from people around Cumbria.
