Teesside parents cried tears of joy as their toddlers tried out soft play for the first time.
The blaze broke out shortly after midnight in the building containing 500 bales. Crews from Malton, Pickering and Kirkbymoorside attended the incident. By 2.45am they had reduced the fire to the point where all but one of the crews could return to their stations. One crew remains at the scene. The cause of the blaze is as yet unknown. The barn is made of steel. Suzanne Hoggard, whose family own the barn, said: We are devastated. This is the third time this has happened to one of our barns. We are grateful to the fire crews who have been on site all night and await the outcome of their investigations into the cause of the fire.
