Mary T. Beron, 71, resident of Duluth, MN passed away peacefully with her life partner by her side, Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Solvay Hospice. Mary was born in Duluth to Gordon and Loraine (Lofdahl) Beron and was nicknamed ‘Teeny’ by her family at birth due to her small size.
Last year, more than 1,200 animals were saved through the Dickson County based rescue, Proverbs12:10. This group is blessed with many wonderful volunteers who work tirelessly to save the lives of animals, and the goodness of these folks flows over into the human arena as well.
In addition to their amazing work with animals, there is a passion to help anyone in need. In the last three years, this deep compassion has literally led “four” Proverbs’ volunteers to save human lives through organ donation.
Without hesitation Mary Bell, Megan Saxby, Adam Twining and Suzanne French all have donated a kidney to someone in desperate need. Putting their personal lives on hold, thinking little of their own pain, and selflessly giving of themselves has extended the lives of four grateful people.
