Suzanne DeSoleil (of the Sun in French) is our guest for sunny August. Her luscious color palette shines beautifully in her figurative and landscape paintings. Suzanne is an art educator, painter and ceramicist from Boise. Her work has been shown internationally and in museum exhibitions. We also have two new members, painters Mary Arnold and Sonia Helfer. Mary’s colorful landscapes and animal portraits are well-known and appreciated in the Boise area. She is a recent recipient of a scholarship from the Idaho Commission on the Arts. Sonia Helfer is also a colorist, whose paintings have exhibited in Europe, across the U.S. and in Argentina. Sonia’s extensive travels are brilliantly represented in her palette knife paintings.

On August 6, 4-7 p.m., we will hold a special reception with live music by local band Catfish d’Grey. We hope you will join us.

View the work of our guest and new members and the work of more than 20 regional artists a
