There are going to be plenty of walkies this month for a pet pooch belonging to Sutherland Rotary Club president Alistair Risk and his wife Fiona.
The couple, who live in Brora, have pledged to walk at least 50 miles each during the course of February and their dog Selkie will be accompanying them all the way.

An East Sutherland Rotarian has enlisted her pet to help broadcast an important fundraising message.
Sarah Warren, secretary of East Sutherland Rotary Club, bought her dog Monty a coat as a Christmas present.
And on it she had printed: Iâm walking to raise money to eradicate Polio. East Sutherland Rotary Club.â
Monty wearing his purple coat on which is printed the polio message. People are being encouraged to raise funds by undertaking sponsored swims, runs and jogs.
