Today, Bogle Family Vineyards pays homage to its heritage in a new on-premise only release, TWENTY ACRES by Bogle. “More than 50 years ago, our grandfather, Warren V. Bogle was looking for a new crop to plant. When his potatoes failed to take hold, a friend suggested winegrapes instead. The vineyards thrived and we are proud to carry on the winegrape growing tradition to this day,” said Jody Bogle. Chenin Blanc and Petite Sirah were planted on 20 acres of land on the Bogle Home Ranch in Clarksburg. As the family realized the potential of the soil, the vineyards expanded and so did the Bogle’s commitment to making quality, handcrafted wines.
