POLICE have seized a car at a large car meet in Beachy Head. Officers said they had no problem with people admiring each other s cars as people took part in a car meet this afternoon. However, the force said drivers who drive in a manner that causes alarm or annoyance risk having their car seized. As a result, one car has been impounded by officers at the scene. A DRIVER has failed a roadside drug test for cocaine after being reported by a concerned member of the public. Police stopped a van after receiving a report from someone concerned about a possible intoxicated driver on Saturday. After locating the vehicle, the driver failed a roadside drug test for cocaine. However, officers also discovered the van was on false plates and had been stolen from the Thames Valley area.
