And over the weekend, the US Women’s Gymnastics team competed in the qualifying round at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Before the Olympic games, the US Women’s Gymnastics team was a heavy favorite with people calling them the greatest gymnastics team in history. But the team landed in the 2nd place spot during the preliminaries, with the team representing the Russian Olympic Committee finishing more than a point ahead.
