LOCK HAVEN Cases of COVID-19 are on the rise at Susque-View, but vaccines have arrived.
Due to the positive cases in the facility and Clinton County’s community positivity rate, Susque-View Home residents continue to be tested once per week and employees are tested twice per week for COVID-19, according to a news release from Susque-View. According to the release, the testing follows CDC and Department of Health testing frequency guidelines.
The results of the last couple weeks test results have brought the overall total of residents who’ve tested positive to eight, up from six at the end of December. The overall total of staff members who have tested positive is 26, up from 19. Most all the residents and staff were asymptomatic. Without the frequent testing, they may have never known they had COVID-19. Most of the staff members are past their quarantine period and have returned to work, the release said.
