Rest of World News: A China-born Australian democracy blogger will not appeal his suspended death sentence imposed by a Beijing court, with his family saying Wednesday a legal challenge would be detrimental to his welfare.
Australia's government said Tuesday it had expressed "outrage" to China over a suspended death sentence handed to Chinese-Australian dissident writer Yang Jun.Yang was sentenced to death on Monday with a two-year suspended execution, and had all of his property confiscated, the Chinese foreign ministry said.
