A team of Michigan State University College of Human Medicine physicians partnered with a group from Spectrum Health to advance studies into a potential cystic fibrosis treatment.
A Michigan State University College of Human Medicine researcher has been awarded a federal grant to study a gene therapy treatment for cystic fibrosis.
The W.I. held their first meeting of the year on zoom and twelve members attended. Hilary Crowe, one of the members, gave a very informative talk about viruses, which was particularly relevant to coronavirus, and explained how the different vaccines work. There was a good discussion about the place of humans in the eco system, and what might happen in the future.
