Multiple Lee County fire departments contain 35-acre brush fire off Corkscrew Road
Units from multiple fire departments in Lee County had a 35-acre brush fire off Corkscrew Road 100% contained Wednesday afternoon.
An official with lead department Estero Fire Rescue said the fire was burning an area containing medium fuel and moving west.
No homes or structures were threatened by the fire and no injuries were reported, according to an Estero Fire Rescue Facebook post.
The cause is under investigation and crews remained on scene about 5 p.m. to check for hot spots.
