When much-loved Susan Liddle died from a brain tumour her husband Simon and young son Ben were determined to honour her memory by raising funds for a charity close to their hearts.
They set about fundraising and have now collected almost £2,500 for the brain cancer charity Brainstrust UK and plan to redouble their efforts with an upcoming sponsored walk.
Simon, 51, and Ben, 11, who live in Yapton, will be joined by family and friends to cover a five-mile sponsored walk starting from The Murrell Arms on May 23.
