I believe city councillors made another bad decision in closing the River Road golf course to put it up for sale. The city had the opportunity to work with a group to turn the non-profit into a profit.

There were so many people unable to golf and the city did not open the course during the pandemic. With the loss of income while they still cut the grass and maintained lights and water, it’s obvious there would be no income. But there was a greater loss for the community.
