FSU employees complete Advance Leadership Development Program

The Advance Leadership Development Program (ALDP) at Florida State University announced its class of 2020-21 graduates Friday.
The eight-month, cohort-based professional development program wrapped up on April 2, 2021 with a group comprised of 25 faculty and staff members.
ALDP is sponsored by the Office of Human Resources and is a training certificate program designed to foster the growth and development of high-performing leaders and emerging leaders at Florida State University.

A Florida State University graduate student will appear on ABC’s Shark Tank next week.
Michael Benarde is the winner of the Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship’s 2020 InNOLEvation Challenge Business Model Competition.
A native of West Palm Beach, Benarde graduated last year from Florida State University with his bachelor’s degree in political science, and he is currently enrolled in FSU’s MBA program in the College of Business.

New FSU master’s program to focus on sustainability
Officials at the Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship say the new program will teach sustainable business practices and good corporate governance.
Florida State University’s Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship is launching a new online major in the Master of Science program this fall to prepare students to help companies meet the demands of today but not at the expense of tomorrow.
The Master of Science in Entrepreneurship, Social and Sustainable Enterprises will offer graduates an opportunity to learn sustainable practices and good corporate governance, according to Mark McNees, faculty adviser to the program and social entrepreneur in residence at the college.
