Union members who work at Condé Nast brands including Vanity Fair, Vogue and GQ are walking off the job on Tuesday to protest negotiations conduct that they claim violates labor law.
Hundreds of staffers were expected to join a picket line outside the company’s New York City headquarters that “will feature an Oscars-nomination-style treatment with a red carpet, ‘step and repeat’ and more to further highlight why these journalists chose to walkout,” the union said in a statement.
Hundreds of unionized staffers at Conde Nast, the parent company behind legacy publications including Vogue and Vanity Fair, walked out Tuesday in protest of looming layoffs.
