HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) -In Huntsville, the City Council elected to follow the Governorâs lead two weeks ago, and will not put a new mask ordinance in place. But, that doesnât mean itâs time to throw them away just yet.
WAFF spoke with several businesses in the Huntsville area yesterday asking if they were going to require visitors to mask up or not.
The most common answer was masking will be preferred but not required.

The Neighborhood Store, tries to stay stocked with toys for children, but this week was completely out and hoping for donations.

Santa may have been laid off back in September, but he’s still expected to show up with a sack full of toys on Christmas Eve to make children happy. That’s a hard thing to do this year, with jobs as scarce as snowfall in the south. Children don’t know much about the economy, but they know what they’d ask Santa for if they could sit on his knee this year and whisper in his ear.
