As a civil rights lawyer, he sued the Housing Authority to improve the standards of living for Public Housing tenants. And he also sued the Fire Department so women and people of color could get equal opportunity. As the director of this citys human rights commission, he expanded contracting opportunities for women and people of color. They will also inherit the things that we fail to do. And im about making sure that we fail less in the things that were obligated to do for our generations. Thats why im investing in education.
