GAMING News: At the 2024 Game Developers Conference, Qualcomm engineer Issam Khalil announced that most Windows games should "just work" on the company's unannounced Snapdragon X Elite laptops, set to launch this summer. According to The Verge, Khalil emphasised that these Arm-based systems will use emulation to run x86 and x64 games at near-native speeds without requiring developers to port their titles.
Microsoft's upcoming Surface lineup is expected to feature a next-gen neural processing unit (NPU) and will be available in both Intel and ARM variants.
The Surface Laptop 6 will be available in two sizes. The smaller model will have a slightly larger 13.8-inch display, up from 13.5 inches on the Surface Laptop 5.
