A severe heat wave has struck Himachal Pradesh, with the state capital Shimla reaching its hottest day of the season at 30.6 degrees Celsius. Una sizzled at 44.4 degrees Celsius. Other districts like Bilaspur, Hamirpur, and Solan are also experiencing above-normal temperatures, prompting a yellow alert from the local meteorological office.
