SMIMER doctor Rutvik Darji suspended for allegedly assaulting a Thai woman in the institute's boys' hostel. A departmental inquiry has been initiated against Darji and charges will be framed based on the findings. The woman involved is untraceable, and the inquiry is based on CCTV footage and eyewitness statements.
Rupanshee Srivastava, a research scholar from BHU, has been awarded a scientific exchange grant to visit Germany for research in March. She will be working with Prof. Dr. Dirk Schneider from Johannes Gutenberg University. Srivastava is the first student from MMV to receive this grant.
