Cops arrest suspect for allegedly stabbing 78-year-old man in Johor

KULAI: Police here have arrested a man on Sunday (March 7) for allegedly stabbing a 78-year-old man with a knife in Taman Kota Kulai near here. Kulai OCPD Supt Tok Beng Yeow said the suspect was arrested at around 4.15pm while he was sitting at the five-foot way of a shop in the neighbourhood at Jalan Pinang 1. He said a fight erupted earlier between the 35-year old suspect and the 78-year old victim at around 3.55pm at a homestay. “The suspect stabbed the victim using a knife and fled the crime scene after the incident, ’’ Supt Tok said in a statement on Monday (March 8)
